Some good news
My hubby finally found a place in Shanghai for us to live. It's gonna be a duplex, up on the 23rd floor. It sounds pretty neat, the way he described it. It's also close to a market, some food places and a tattoo parlor. Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to schmooze my way in as an actual artist. :P If not, I can try for an apprenticeship and start over at square one.
I'm still not looking forward to moving across the world and away from everything I've known, but it will probably not be so bad once I get there. :shrug:

I got myself hired in a tattoo studio! I DID IT!! All the fear, depression, elation, ups and downs finally paid off!! :boogie:
The boss says I need a teensy bit more work on my lines, but he said I lay down color better than some people who have been tattooing for years. WOOT!!!
I have 6 pieces under my belt so far, and it's looking like a 7th soon.....I took a walk-in at the shop today. YAY!! =D
I'm there 3 days a week so far. Once my presence is established, I might move it up to more, provided the boss-man gives the ok. =D
